Movie of the week-The impossible

One word: AMAZING. Highly recommended. One of the best movies i have seen in years.

The plot is based on a true story of a family who traveled in Thailand back in December 2004 to enjoy their Christmas holidays in this place who many call "heaven on earth". However, their faith is to encounter one of the worst natural catastrophes this world has ever seen. The horrible Tsunami. The first part of the movie shows when the Tsunami strikes, while the rest of the movie is about the members of the family who are separated and trying to survive while searching for each other. The movie keeps you in tense throughout the whole 2 hours. The plot, direction, effects, acting and music, make viewers experience the Tsunami and post-Tsunami disaster as if they were actually there. Naomi Watt's acting is so powerful and realistic that takes the movie one lever higher. She has earned herself an Oscar Award Nomination for "Best performance by an actress in a leading role". I really believe she deserves to win.

P.S Many of you might need to have a pack of Kleenex in your pockets since the movie is extremely emotional! Just in case!

Here's the trailer, but i must warn you, there are lots of SPOILERS that might ruin it for you!
